Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 16 ounces white chocolate (good bars or baking chocolate preferred, chips work if you’re in a pinch) Use high-quality chocolate for better taste.
  • 12 cookies Halloween Oreo cookies (or regular Oreos, but orange filling is more fun!) Regular Oreos can be used if Halloween ones are not available.
  • 1 cup assorted Halloween candy (think candy corn, mini Reese’s, M&Ms, sprinkles—whatever screams 'Halloween' to you) Choose any candies you love.
  • to taste festive sprinkles (optional but adds a fun twist) Make it visually appealing.
  • 1 sheet parchment paper Essential for easy removal of the bark.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Break up the Oreo cookies into big chunks.
  • Prepare your assorted Halloween candy and sprinkles in separate bowls.

Melting Chocolate

  • Melt the white chocolate by microwaving it in short bursts (30 seconds, then stir) until glossy.
  • Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate over a pot of simmering water.

Mixing and Setting

  • Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined sheet and spread it out evenly.
  • While the chocolate is still gooey, evenly sprinkle the chopped Oreos, candies, and festive sprinkles on top. Press down slightly to make sure they stick.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes until set.

Finishing Up

  • Once set, break the bark into big, jagged pieces and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh. Can be stored at room temperature or in the fridge, but note that fridge moisture may cause candy colors to bleed slightly. For longer storage, you can freeze bark with parchment between layers.
