  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Real Parmesan, not pre-grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped for freshness and hormone support
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice Optional, for brightness
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste, freshly ground for optimal flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Cooking

  • Pour in the milk or plant-based alternative, and bring to a very gentle simmer.
  • Gradually add the freshly grated Parmesan, stirring constantly until it’s completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Simmer for a few minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice (if using), salt, and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Serve immediately over your favorite pasta, roasted vegetables, or protein.

Notes

This sauce can be paired with whole wheat pasta, roasted vegetables, grilled chicken, or lentils for a balanced meal. Enhance flavor with additional garlic, salt, or acid like lemon juice.
