Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 oz cream cheese full-fat, cubed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • green onions optional, for garnish
  • chicken broth optional, for thinning

Homemade Ranch Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle homemade ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  • Top with cubed cream cheese. Do not stir.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Shred the chicken in the slow cooker and stir everything together.
  • Add shredded cheddar and crumbled bacon. Stir until melted and well combined.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve as desired.

Notes

This recipe can be served on buns, over rice or mashed potatoes, in lettuce wraps, or as a dip. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
