Instructions

  • Cook the Ground Beef
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, sautéed onion and garlic, baked beans, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, mustard, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon or shredded cheese over the top for extra flavor and texture.
  • Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the top is slightly caramelized.
  • Let the dish cool slightly before serving. Pair with cornbread, coleslaw, or grilled meats for a complete meal.
